Christmas with GIANTmicrobes! A review

So Sew Mama received sample products to review and share. All opinions are her own.

There are so many great options for Holiday Gifts out there. Most are very ordinary and not unique in the slightest bit. Sure, you can get your friend some new makeup, a robe or what have you. But why go the straigh forward route? Especially when you can get them a Christmas Tree Box from GIANTmicrobes! Gross them out, and have a good laugh! It makes the perfect whimsical gift for co-workers as well.

My kids even love GIANTmicrobes. The adorably cuddly organisms are perfect as a teaching toy.

There are currently three different types of holiday boxes available. They include a stocking Christmas tree and a Wreath. All of which have 5 tiny little microbes in Holiday attiar.

We received the Christmas Tree set, and cannot wait to give these little guys a new home on our tree. (Pictures to come, I promise!)

Included in our adorably disgusting box of ornament germs and such are; Common Cold (wearing the cutest santa hatever!), Brain Cell (with a tiny candy cane), Kissing Disease (under the mistletoe, HA.), E. coli (wearing his own set of reindeer antlers) and a Red Amoeba (I'm sure his mom knitted that scarf!).

I can't wait to infect our tree this year with some GIANTmicrobe goodness. So what are you waiting for? Purchase a box or two to give as gag gifts. They are perfect for the tree!

You can purchase your very own Holiday GIANTmicrobes for around $25 on their website.
Connect with them on Twitter and Facebook to learn more about GIANTmicrobes.

I receive product to review on my website. Regardless, I only recommend those that I would use. The opinions I have expressed in this post are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.

What is your favorite Holiday?

My favorite Holiday would have to be Christmas.

It's an amazing time of year. Family gets together to celebrate. It isn't even about the presents. My kids are not ungrateful at all.

What is not to love?

My child is scared of Santa!

Yesterday I wanted to take my three kids to see Santa at the mall. Well, that did not happen.
When we got there santa was right there sitting in his rather large throne. Lit up Christmas trees all around, and pillows of fake snow. This did not go over well with my children and the hurried off in the other direction.

I figured that if I let them calm down that maybe they will change their mind. We walked around for a bit and went to the play area. I love this mall. Their were a few kids their age, so they had a lot of fun. Baby girl was fast asleep in my baby wrap .
When we went back to Santa they still wanted no part in it. I had them watch the other kids, but no luck.

Maybe next year I guess. Can't say that we didn't give it our all.

Fa la la la love egg nog

It's that great time of year when the days become shorter. Snow sticks to the ground. My heating bills grow enormous and egg nog hits shelves. Well it's been out since thanksgiving but who's counting. I love sugar cookie egg nog. It's by far the best. I have to limit how much I consume now though because of baby girl. Not sure how much her tummy would like it. Some babies don't like dairy. But so far a glass now and then hasn't hurt. So I'm going to sit here and enjoy a glass before making the kiddos lunch.
